Clinical and Counseling Psychology, M.S.

Our M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology will mold you into an empathic and knowledgeable clinician prepared to make a difference in people’s lives. Ranked a top 3 program in Pennsylvania for clinical, counseling and applied psychology, the program offers seven concentration areas and a wide variety of field placement options. Upon completion of the degree, you’ll meet the requirements for master’s licensure in PA as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and the GRE is not required.

Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, Psy.D.

Our Psy.D. degree will strengthen your skills in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, supervision, and consultation. Two optional concentrations are offered: psychological assessment and couple and family psychology. You may enter the program with either a bachelor’s in psychology or master’s in clinical and/or counseling psychology, or a closely related field, and the GRE is required. This degree will also prepare you for the licensing examination in Pennsylvania and throughout the United States. Take your clinical practice further with your Psy.D. from Chestnut Hill.

Program Flexibility

The M.S. is offered at both our Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley campuses. Classes are offered in person, online and in a hybrid format. The Psy.D. is a full-time program offered on our main Philadelphia campus with classes meeting in person Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
